A nice small cafe situated in Sivotel Bangkok Hotel. It looks pretty on its own, doesn’t match with the atmosphere of the hotel though.
“A coffee garden in the morning, wine garden at night, Café Jardin brings the great outdoors to the cool indoors. Breakfast, light lunch dishes including soups, salads and sandwiches along with fine pastries and baked goods are served in a delightfully different Sukhumvit restaurant setting. A set afternoon tea is available.” -Cafe Jardin.

Another small coffee shop my dad discovered in Exchange Tower,
it’s in a corner at the back; therefore, at first glance I didn’t find it interesting.
When we settled down on our small table and stools,
I ordered Cold Honey Milk at the price of just 40+ baht…
I said to myself, “Wow, why is it so cheap?” because I compared it to my usual place – Starbucks and Tom N Toms.
Anyway, when my order arrived and I drank it……. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!
- The End -

For those who seek fusion Japanese food instead of traditional Japanese food,
then I really recommend you to one of my favorite place.
Sonie’s provides many fusion rolls, spaghetti as well as some meats.
But truely, you must MUST order their rolls…. AMAZING!
What I really recommend are – Sonie’s Sushi Pizza, Dragon Eyes, Oh my god and Spaghetti Mentaiko or Tarako.

Complimentary peas to chew while waiting for the food

Rainbow Roll – Assorted fusion rolls

Dragon Eye – MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!!! (^___^)

Sonie’s Sushi Pizza – A famous signature dish that you must try. Very crispy.

Fisherman Roll

Spaghetti Mentaiko – My favorite kind of spaghetti
Salty just right.

I pushed through the big door and smell of freshly baked pastries filled my lungs.
The smell of something sweet, a bit tangy, but surely something delicious…
I am not disappointed with this bakery at all.

AFFOGATO with homemade jellies as base

BANOFFEE is just delicious..DELICIOUS!

Freshly baked CHEESECAKE.
And I really mean, “freshly baked”.
So if you order this,
you’ll have to wait for them to go bake it for you for 15 minutes
Isn’t it nice though..?!!
Worth the wait

Well… what can I say but “DELICIOUS!!!”, actually not just ‘say’ but ‘scream at the top of my lungs’.
This bakery is probably one of the most delicious I’ve ever ever tasted in Thailand.
Somehow, it reminds me of Shakespeare Pie in Australia (I’m sure all ya Aussies know it).
Sadly, the shop doesn’t allow taking photographs, BUT, I took a few before they stopped me…. XD
Everything is delicious, seriously, DELICIOUS.. and I can’t help but wish they’d open a franchise in Bangkok.
It’d be a lot easier for me to buy more when I want if they have it here, instead of driving 3 hours to Hua Hin.
But anyway, I mostly like their pies… heaven on earth! But my most favorite is the baguette with garlic butter.
When my mum first bought the garlic butter last month, I thought it was Caesar Salad butter!!
This time I also went along and found out it’s actually garlic butter… wow!
The bakery is super crowded, with mostly Thais entering and buying back home while foreigners sit and relax.
They have a couple of tables but not a lot because the space is taken by all the breads.
Once you enter the bakery, smell of freshly baked bread fills the air and goes deep into your lungs.
Everything looks delicious and you won’t be able to stop buying.
They even have their shop sign as a ROAD SIGN, and it’s seriously HUGE! This proves how popular it is.

My family and relatives stayed at Ruan Panalee Resort for a night during the Songkran Festival.
PanaCafe is a small glasshouse cafe inside this river resort near the famous weekend market, Amphawa.
My dad and I are coffee lover, but more than just coffee, we like to explore nice coffee shops.
We don’t necessarily have to drink coffee every single day, but what we like to do when we go out of town,
or even just out of home, we’d find new coffee shops to try out.
This coffee shop surprised us, in a good way of course, we didn’t expect such a nicely designed cafe here.
It’s not that the place is rural or anything, it’s just that, we only expected an average village-kind coffee shop.
But this one is nicely done. The architecture, interior, decoration and atmosphere lives up to our expectations.
Apart from selling the usual coffee and beverage menu, they also have noodles and souvenirs.

My dad’s cappuccino, as usual.

After the renovation, this restaurant changed its look completely.
I’m not saying it didn’t look good before, but it just got a whole lot better.
It’s white and clean, bright and neat, warm but also business-like.
Their food is good, reasonable, it’s not a cheap place to eat but not THAT expensive.
Here are what I always order:

Spring Rolls

Noodle fried with crab and spare-ribs
